Lessons are available from a CHA certified riding instructor at Quiet Company Farm. The lesson program consists mainly of riders age 8 or 9 and up (including adults).  The program focuses on safety and good horsemanship. All students learn how to properly work with the horses on the ground, tack up and groom. Riders begin in private lessons, and once they have sufficient control can move to a group lesson if they would rather. All lessons are tailored to meet the rider’s goals, whether they be simply riding for pleasure or to be ready for the show ring.

The lessons are highly personalized and have no more than 4 students per lesson in order for the students to receive lots of one on one attention. Kelly Snowdon, our main instructor, teaches in a safe, patient and fun manner, and the school horses are kind and wonderful to learn on. Kelly's back ground includes a BSc degree with a major in animal science, over 10 years of teaching experience and over 20 years in the horse industry working and competing.
